Death of Mrs. Paul Willheit. - The sympathy of a wide circle of friends is 
extended to Paul Willheit in the sad bereavement visited upon him by the 
death of his wife, who passed away at the family home in Lafourche street at 
9:50 o'clock Monday night, after a brief illness. Her remains were conveyed 
to Plaquemine Tuesday morning via the Texas & Pacific Railroad and were laid 
to rest in the Protestant cemetery there, after services conducted by Rev. 
R. H. Prosser, of this city. Mrs. Willheit's maiden name was Lydie Adams, 
and she was a native of Lafourche parish. Besides her husband, she is 
survived by her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. V. Adams, of Plaquemine; 
three small children, Beulah, Lawrence and Ellis Adams, issue of a former 
marriage, and several brothers and sisters.
 


CARD OF THANKS. - I DESIRE ro express to my friends and neighbors my deep 
appreciation of their kindness and aid during the illness and at the death 
and burial of my beloved wife. Especially do I wish to convey my heartfelt 
thanks to Chief LeBlanc of the Plaquemine Fire Department, and the mayor of 
that city, for their thoughtful attentions in the hour of my sore trial and
