Obituary of Estelle Ellerbe Garsee
April 14, 2003

Services for Estelle Ellerbe Garsee, age 80, of Jena will be held
at 2 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2003 from the chapel of Riser Funeral
Home in Columbia with Rev. Floyd Hawthorne officiating. Interment
will follow in the Hall Cemetery east of Monroe.
    
Mrs. Garsee was born on January 28, 1923 in East Carroll Parish
to the union of Thomas Armendi Reeves Ellerbe and died Saturday,
April 12, 2003 at the LaSalle General Hospital in Jena.
    
She was a homemaker and a member of the First United Pentecostal 
Church in Winnsboro.  She was preceded in death by her husband: 
William Virgil Garsee, Sr.
    
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law: Bill and Linda
Garsee of Jena, her brother: T.M. Ellerbe of Livingston, Texas, five
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
    
Pallbearers will be members of the National Guard Honor Guard.
