Obituary of Elva Genece "Genny" McAdams Collins Hester
June 23, 2003

Services for Elva Genece "Genny" McAdams Collins Hester, age 63, of Monroe
will be held at 10 a.m., Monday, June 23, 2003 from the Cross
Roads Baptist Church west of Grayson with Rev. Shane Duke
and Rev. Tommy Nelson officiating.  Interment will follow in the
church cemetery.
    
Mrs. Hester was born on December 18, 1939 in Downsville
to the union of Marshall and Leona Brantley McAdams and died
Saturday, June 21, 2003 at her residence.
    
She was a homemaker and a member of the Cross Roads
Baptist Church.
    
Survivors include her husband: Johnny Hester of Monroe,
her daughters and sons-in-law: DeAn and Paul West of Monroe,
Cherylan and Beau Chappell of Martindale, Texas, her son and
daughter-in-law: Troy and Angie Collins of Bay St. Louis, Ms.,
her step-daughter: Tammy Wise and her husband: Roy of 
Pocatello, Id., her grandchildren: Morgan West, Molly West,
Matthew Chappell, Sarah Collins, Chad Wise, Emily Wise, Hope
Taylor and Hunter Dorr, her brothers: Harvel McAdams of Monroe
and Dewey McAdams of Alexandria, and her sisters: Evelyn 
Hogan, Ruby McAdams and Gloria DeLaSalle all of Monroe.
    
Pallbearers will be Shelby McManus, Gerald Rushing, Louis
Main, Everett Albritton, Shep Moore, Marshall Nelson, Tommy
Stewart and John Medaries.
    
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Great Grace
Ministries or Crossover Ministries in care of Cross Roads 
Baptist Church, Grayson.
    
Visitation will be at the church until time of services.
