Services for Damon L. "Dinky" Franklin, age 61 of Grayson will be 
held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, June 29, 2005 from the chapel of Riser 
Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Jimmy Goodman and Rev. Wayne 
James officiating.

Mr. Franklin was born on August 6, 1943 in Clarks and passed away 
on June 27, 2005 at LSU Medical Center in Monroe.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Lois V. Thompson Franklin.

Survivors include his father: Leland J. Franklin of the Haven Nursing 
Center in Columbia, his brothers: Wayne Franklin and his wife: Dorothy 
of Clarks and Raymond Franklin and his wife: Regina of Columbia; his 
aunts: Mavis Monroe of Grayson, Hazel Travis of West Monroe and Thelma 
Franklin Crawford an her husband: Johnny of Sicily Island and many 
nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Spencer Young, Charles Braddock, Hershel Volentine, 
Jackie Ray Coates, Stacy Ray Coates and Jimmy Dale Stapleton.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 28, 2005 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and 
Wednesday from 9:00 AM until time of services at Riser Funeral Home, 7131 
Hwy 165, Columbia, LA.
