Obituary:  M. Wayne Mobley
October 3, 2003

Services for M. Wayne Mobley, age 36, of Columbia will be
held at 2 p.m., Friday, October 3, 2003 from the chapel of
Riser Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. Brian Rankin
officiating.  Interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery
west of Columbia.
    
Mr. Mobley was born in Columbia on September 23, 1967 to
the union of Blanchard and Gwen Ainsworth Mobley and died
Wednesday, October l, 2003 at St. Francis Medical Center in
Monroe.
    
He was a valve technician with Carter Chamber Co. in Monroe. 
He attended Fellowship Baptist Church and Palestine Baptist Church.  
He was an avid outdoorsman and hunter.
    
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brother: 
Dennis Mobley.
    
Survivors include his sisters: Shelia Breaux of Pensacola, Fl.,
Crystal Babcock of Grayson, Ann Stapleton of Columbia and
Lynn Evans of Kentucky, and his brothers: Junior Mobley of
Pasadena, Tx. and Ronnie Mobley of South Carolina.
    
Pallbearers will be David Washaw, Junior Dye, Mark Soignier,
Brian Puckett, Darren Hales and Mike Hales.
    
Honorary pallbearers are Jim Steele, Mark Black and Bucky
Procell.
