Obituary of Dora Thomas
The Caldwell Watchman-Progress, October 2, 1975

Funeral services for Mrs. Dora Mae Thomas, 75, of Columbia
were at 4 p.m. Friday at the Cypress Baptist Church with the
Rev. Elton Woods and the Rev. C. C. Martin officiating.

She died Wednesday morning at Caldwell Memorial Hospital after
a lengthy illness.

Burial was in Cypress Cemetery under direction of Riser and Son
Funeral Home of Columbia.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Moore from Chatham; a son,
retired Sgt. Staford M. Thomas from Arcadia; two sisters, Mis
Dillis Martin of Columbia, Mrs. Mattie Roberts of West Monroe;
a brother Mr. John E. Bailes of Columbia; nine grandchildren and
eight great-grandchildren.
