Seeking information on Berry Jefferson ROBINETT(b. 1875)who married M. Alma ALLEN in 1894 and moved into Grant Parish sometime after 1900. He was a civil engineer, living in Colfax (1910) and Verda (1920).Children: Roland, Archie, Effie and Jefferson. I am looking for info on W.Fred SCOTT my Greatgrandfathers brother. He lived in Pollock and he carved bowls and other things out of wood.His Brother Jim Scott Died at a young age from Cancer. My grandpa was his only child. Jim was briefly married to Olivia "Ollie" WILLIAMS of Beaumont Texas. Their son was Albert Lee Scott Born 1912,my Mother's Father. I Am trying for my family to do a history on these members but I am stuck at this point.Fred had two sons that I know of James and Junius Scott. His wife was Aunt Zora.

I am looking for a marriage liscense for Benjamin STALVEY / STALSBY and Hattie DEEN have searched Vernon Parish, to no avail and none exists in Rapides Parish, Benjamin was born 1856,Hattie was born1869,in 1898 their second child was born in Cravens,La. I found their daughter,Euna in a school picture recorded inthe book HIstoric Cotile about 1900.I understand the DEEN family has a history in Grant Parish, any help would be appreciated. Info on Hattie DEEN born 1869 in Louisiana would be helpful too.

I'm looking for any desendents of Jerome Bonaparte ENGLE. Some believe his first name is Zachary. He was born in Buffalo,NY, July 5 1822 or 1827 and died in Pineville,LA September 8,1935. Most or all of his immediate family were killed in an Indian raid in Iowa. He served in the military in the Arkansas Infantry and was discharged in Pine Bluff, AR. He married Emmiline SERMONS in Homer, LA. Later they moved to Grant Parish. They had eight children, one of which is William CURTIS aka Pete ENGLE, my paternal grandfather. Upon his death, he was buried in the National Cemetery in Pineville, LA.
