All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Crystal Devillier oneonone@cox.net January 10, 2007, 6:13 pm Written: August 5, 1802 Date: August 5, 1802 Sale - Luis Danneguen to Simon Brusard A plantation with all its dependencies belonging to me, situated in said District of Iberville, on the left bank of the Mississippi river, composed of six arpents seven toises and four feet of front with the ordinary depth, bounded on the upper part by lands of Roverto Miguel and below by those of Estevan Como; the same which was possessed and purchased of Dn Joseph Mollere by deed executed on the twenty-eighth of March of one thousand seven hundred ninety-eight before the Commandant who was we understand, Dn Lorenzo Sigur; The said Commandant certifies that Luis Dannequen has declared before me and in presence of witnesses, that sum of $200 which Simon Brusard owes him for the plantation which he had sold him as expressed by the deed which precedes, the said Simon Brusard will turn over same to Jospeh Clouatre on the terms expressed in said deed, by virtue of donation which was made of said sum to Luis Clouatre, son of the said Joseph Clouatre, which sum his father owes to him when he becomes of age.
