The friends of Mrs. J. W. Betz will be sorry to learn of her bereavement, 
caused by the sudden death of her sister-in-law, Mrs. Pierre Elissalde, which 
occurred at the latter's home in Baton Rouge last Saturday night. Mrs. Betz 
left for the capital city as soon as the sad news reached her, and will return 
home tomorrow.
