Rosalie LeBouef Lirette, 71, a native and resident of Chauvin, died at 4:40 
p.m. Aug. 10, 2004.

Visitation will be 4 to 10 p.m. Friday and 8 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the KC 
Hall in Chauvin. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. 
Saturday at the church, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Delvin "Pappose" J. Lirette Sr.; sons and 
daughters-in-law, Delvin "D.J." Jr. and Joanna Lirette and Richard "Ricky" and 
Brenda Lirette; daughters, Eleanor Lirette and companion Lyle Lecompte and Ida 
Faciane; brothers and sisters-in-law, Carbert and Joan Ann LeBouef and Hubert 
and Sharon LeBouef; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred and Emile Rodrigue, 
Rosabelle and Claude Rodrigue, Rita Mae Ryder, Hilda and Percy Sevin, Mary Lee 
Henry and Norma Ann and Ace Becker; grandchildren, Desaire Lirette and wife 
Anitra, Brian Lirette and Kathy Lirette, Sherry Harshman and husband Neil, 
Jessie Authement, Kelly Authement and wife Joann, Charity Boudreaux and husband 
Jocob, Dustin Facaine; step-grandson, Myles Lecompte; foster grandchildren, 
Annette Rutledge, Deana Dupre and Charlie Lodrigue; great-grandchildren, 
Brandon, Kayleigh, Logan, Zachary and Shaye Lirette, Owens Koby Harshman, Drake 
Authement, Kaylee and Ian Lecompte; and seven foster-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughters, Barbara and Elaine Lirette; 
parents, Elie and Beulah Boudreaux LeBouef; paternal grandparents, Etienne and 
Alida Bourg LeBouef; maternal grandparents, Eddie and Clarise Ledet Boudreaux; 
brothers, Joseph, Alvin Sr., Allen, Carroll and Nelson LeBouef; sister, Beulah 
LeBouef.

She was a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
