Angelique Trahan

Angelique "Angelle" Crochet Trahan, 87, a native and resident of Houma, died at 
10:54 p.m. Dec. 1, 2004.

Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma and 8:30 
to 11 a.m. Friday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial 
will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial at St. Francis 
de Sales No. 2 Cemetery.

She is survived by her sons, Oswald J. Jr. of Gray, Melvin A. of Bayou Blue, 
Enos L. of Stephensville and Wallace A. Trahan Sr. of Houma; daughter, Malvina 
T. Porche of Stephensville; brothers, Robert Crochet of Grand Caillou and 
Vincent Bergeron of Houma; sisters, Shirley Trahan and Beverly Dardar of Houma 
and Elizabeth Fonseca of Bourg; 29 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 11 
great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oswald Joseph Trahan Sr.; parents, 
Alphonse and Louise Bourg Crochet; sons, Earl J. and Ronald P. Trahan; 
daughters, Dorothy T. Arnone and Mary Louise Trahan; grandchildren, Nolan and 
Angela Trahan; great-grandchild, Jordan Nolfo; brothers, Elward, Donald and 
Junius Crochet, Jake Bergeron, Raymond, Aurthur and Floyd Trosclair; and 
sisters, Dorothy Crochet and Doris Brister.

She was a homemaker and parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
