Walter Breaux

Walter "Chick" Joseph Breaux, 78, a native and resident of Houma, died at 10:20 
a.m. Dec. 22, 2004.

Visitation will be 7 to 10 p.m. today and 8 to 9 a.m. Friday at Chauvin Funeral 
Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 9 a.m. Friday at the 
funeral home chapel, with burial at St. Francis de Sales No. 2 Cemetery.

He is survived by his son, Terry Breaux of Thibodaux; sisters, Bernice Jarveaux 
of Houma and Thelma Tribou of Marrero; and grandchildren, Kristi and Katie 
Breaux of Thibodaux.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Ann Chauvin Breaux; parents, 
Charles and Stella Porshe Breaux; brothers, Kenneth Breaux and Charles Breaux 
Jr.; sisters, Ruth B. Blanchard and Gladys Breaux.

He was a retired salesman with Chick Breaux and Associations.

He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and a parishioner of Maria Immacolota Catholic 
Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
