Eunice Usie						[Photo]

Eunice Valerie Usie, 89, a native of Chacahoula and resident of Southdown 
Plantation, died at 9 p.m. Oct. 12, 2004.

Visitation will be 5 to 10 p.m. today at Falgout Funeral Home in Houma and from 
8 to 11 a.m. Friday at Holy Rosary Church in Houma. A Mass of Christian burial 
will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, with burial at St. Francis 
De Sales Cemetery No. 2.

She is survived by her husband, Reynold Charles Usie Sr.; sons, Reynold Jr., 
Gary and Ted Usie; daughters, Meryl Levron, Jackie Redmond and Mary Ann Redmond, 
all of Houma; sister, Bernice Bergeron; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-
grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 
her parents, Sydney Joseph and Modeste Margaret Olivier Babin; brother, Younce 
Babin; sister, Gussie Guilfour. She was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic 
Church.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
