Adelia Duplantis					[Photo]

Adelia "Chut" Billiot Duplantis, 64, a native and resident of Houma, died at 
12:45 p.m. Sept. 25, 2004.

Visitation will be 4 to 10 p.m. today and 8 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Chauvin 
Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at noon Tuesday at 
St. Eloi Catholic Church, with burial at St. Eloi Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Arthur Duplantis of Houma; sons, Richard J. Cook 
of West Palm Beach, Fla., Oville A. Gregoire Jr. and Christopher Duplantis of 
Houma; daughters, Cynthia Bascle of Baton Rouge, Kathleen Gregoire, Hope 
Duplantis, Janice McClain and Ellen Cook Hebert; brothers, Lawrence Billiot of 
Theriot, Ernest Billiot of Delhi, Randolph Billiot of Grand Caillou and Roy 
Billiot of Houma; sisters, Rozelia B. Naquin of Theriot, Mary Alice B. Mudd, 
Dorissa B. Smith, Mary Louise B. Porche and Ediana Billiot of Houma; 21 
grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Victor and Louise Billiot; brothers, 
Ervin and Rudolph Billiot; sister, Christine B. Kingrey; and grandchild Candas 
Louise Hebert.

She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
