Marguerite Carrere

Marguerite "Mixie" Carrere, 78, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of 
Dulac, died at 12:45 p.m. July 30, 2005.

Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. today at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma and 8:30 
to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial 
will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with burial at the church 
cemetery.

She is survived by her daughter Linda "Faye" Pellegrin of Dulac; sister Rosalie 
C. Luke of Dulac; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Enis and Angelique LeBlanc Carrere; 
brothers, Antoine, Edward and Enis Carrere; sisters Pauline Boudreaux, Aline 
Carrere, Annette Buquet and Adele Sperl.

She was a homemaker, a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church and a member 
of the Holy Family Ladies Altar Society.

Chauvin Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
