Della Gaudet						[Photo]

Della Ann Adam Gaudet, 71, a native of Grand Isle and resident of Houma, died at 
2:10 a.m. Jan. 10, 2005.

Visitation will be 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday at 
Chauvin Funeral Home. A prayer service will take place at 10 a.m. Friday in the 
funeral home chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Charles J. Gaudet of Houma; daughters, Jennifer 
Champagne and husband, James, of Houma; Patricia Melancon and husband, Barry, of 
Rye, N.Y.; brother, Donald Adam of Houma; grandchildren, Jami Champagne, James 
Paul Champagne, Julie Champagne, John Champagne and Connor Melancon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kirby Adam and Althea Guidry Adam.

She was a retired librarian in Jefferson Parish and was a parishioner of Maria 
Immaculata Catholic Church.

Donations to the American Kidney Foundation, 8200 Hampton, New Orleans, LA 70001 
are preferred.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
