Curole Jr., 86, a native of Lockport and resident of Jackson, died Dec. 19, 2004. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Memorial United Methodist Church in Mathews. He donated his body to science. He is survived by his sons, Jerry and Kenneth Curole; daughter, Nellie Orgeron; sister, Jean Breaux; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Adia P. Curole; parents, Joseph Sr. and Ella Chauvin Curole; son, Gary Curole; brothers, Sylvester Sr. and Bennie Curole; sisters, Neita Vedros and Ida Tastet.
