Lydia Labat

Lydia Gravois Labat, 68, a native and resident of Vacherie, died Jan. 8, 2005.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Peace 
Catholic Church in Vacherie, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Prof. Ronald Labat; sons, Michael and Lyndon 
Labat; brothers, Edwin, Allen and Francis Gravois; sisters, Ann Granier and 
Virginia Leache; and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Effie Steib Gravois; 
brothers, Raymond and Philip Gravois; and sister, Mildred Weber.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
