John Moore						[Photo]

John Whitt Moore, 60, a native of Village, Ark., and resident of Raceland, died 
at 5 p.m. July 23, 2005.

Visitation will be 6 to 10 p.m. Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland and 
8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Hilary of Poitiers Catholic Church in Raceland. A 
Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church, 
with burial at St. Mary Cemetery in Raceland.

He is survived by his wife, Elaine Hebert Moore; daughters and sons-in-law, Anna 
M. and David W. Cole; Dana M. And Keith J. Gros; brothers, Donald D. Moore and 
James H. Ainsworth; grandchildren, Kaylee, Megan and Ethan Cole, Mason and 
Madison Gros.

He was preceded in death by his parents, J.D. "Booster" Moore and Inez Duncan 
Moore of Village.

He was a parishioner of St. Hilary of Poitiers Church. He was a graduate of 
McLeod High School, he previously served as a deacon at St. Hilary and St. 
Anthony Catholic Church. He was a proud husband, father and grandfather. He 
enjoyed spending time with his family and his many beloved friends.

Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
