Marcella Picou

Marcella Ritter Picou, 85, a native of New Orleans and resident of Thibodaux, 
died at 8:35 a.m. June 11, 2005.

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated at 11 a.m. today at St. Joseph Co-
cathedral in Thibodaux, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Kathy P. and Guy Aloisio of 
Lafayette, Mary Ann Picou of New Orleans and Cecile Marie Picou of Lafayette; 
sister, Rosemary Bacigalupi; grandchildren, Alison Aloisio Champagne, Kristy 
Aloisio Zeringue, Chip Aloisio, Angela Aloisio and Kimberly Aloisio; great-
grandchildren, Blake Champagne, Kate Champagne and Hailey Huckabay.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Ned" Picou; parents, Robert 
and Marcella Cullen Ritter; sister, Ethel "Acey" Primeaux; and brothers, Robert, 
Anthony and Dennis Ritter.

Landry's funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
