James Blaylock

James Daniel "J.D." Blaylock, 85, a native of Ellisville, Ark., resident of 
Luling and El Dorado, Ark., died at 8:30 a.m. May 1, 2005.

Visitation will be 12:30 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at First Baptist Church in Luling. 
A religious service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church, with a 
graveside service to be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Earnest Cemetery at Calhoun 
County, Ark.

He is survived by his wife, Anna Miles Blaylock; sons, Martin and Kenny 
Blaylock; brother, Charles Blaylock; sister, Alma Smead; and one grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Oscar Blaylock and Polly Butler 
Blaylock; brothers, Eugene and O'Neil Blaylock; sisters, Christine Gardner and 
Margie Smead.

He was a deacon at First Baptist Church of Luling. He was a member of Masonic 
Lodge of El Dorado and retired from Monsanta after 34 years.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
