Louise Barras

Louise Westerman Barras, 90, a native and resident of Napoleonville, died at 
10:50 a.m. May 27, 2005.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at St. Philomena Catholic 
Church in Labadieville. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2 p.m. 
Tuesday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.

She is survived by her son, Cyprien Barras and wife Patsy of Napoleonville; 
daughters, Marian B. Vega of Donaldsonville, Gladys B. Molitor and husband 
Millard of Houma; and Peggy B. Boudreaux and husband Robert of Napoleonville; 20 
grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren; six step-
great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and 
nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Whitney Henry Barras; parents, Valsin 
and Corrine Martin Westerman; brothers, Clerfy, Leonard and Camille Westerman; 
son-in-law, Sidney V. Vega Jr.; two infant grandchildren; an infant great-
grandson; and Joseph H. Breaux, the husband of her granddaughter, Diane Breaux.

She was truly loved by all of her family and will be greatly missed by all.

Landry's Funeral Home is in charge of arrangement.
