Dorothy Lamartina

Dorothy V. Lamartina, 80, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died at 3:45 p.m. 
Nov. 13, 2005.

Visitation will be 8 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Christ the Redeemer Catholic 
Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. 
Wednesday at the church, with burial at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.

She is survived by her sons Anthony "Tony" J., Joseph "Joe" C. and Charles G. 
Lamartina; brothers Richard and George Vedros; sister Marian V. Hebert; three 
grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony "Chubby" Lamartina; parents 
Charles and Freida Vedros; and brother Louis Vedros.

She was known as "Aunt Dot" to the many children she babysat.

Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
