Malvina Rodriguez					[Photo]

Malvina Bourg Rodriguez, 84, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident of 
Montegut, died at 8:40 a.m. Oct. 16, 2005.

Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass 
of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church, with 
burial at the church cemetery.

She is survived by her husband, Manuel Rodriguez; son Gary Rodriguez of 
Montegut; daughters Wendy R. Cheramie of Raceland and Rosalie Blanchard of 
Montegut; sister Marie R. Robicheaux; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 
and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Therzile Brunet Bourg; son 
Richard Rodriguez; daughter Rosalie "Lalie" Blanchard; brothers Joseph, Milton, 
George, Andrew and Norman Bourg; and sister Anna Lee Pitre.

She was a Montegut Lioness Club member for more than 30 years and a member of 
the American Legion Auxiliary.

Samart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
