Mrs. Bahm was a retired civil servant serving as Secretary to Chief of the Department of Medicine at Eisenhower Medical Center. She was a communicant of St. Joseph Church and a member of the Parish Council of Catholic Women. She was a Honorary Regent of the Augusta Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution and a member of the Colonial Dames of the 17th Century and the George Walton Chapter Daughter of American Colonists, and a former member of the Army Woman's Club, Richmond County Genealogical Society and Senior Friends. She was a long time volunteer with the VA hospital, Gracewood State Hospital and Catholic Social Services. She was a past vice-president and recording secretary for the Savannah Diocesan Council of Catholic Women and president of the Augusta Deanery Council of Catholic Women. She was also a past vice-president of the Louisiana Federation of Business and Professional Women's Clubs and president of the local Chapter in Houma.
