Estelle Seibert Scheuermann Robichaux, lovingly known as "Boo" to family and
friends, died peacefully at home Wednesday, June 26, 2013. She was born in
New Roads Aug.24, 1921, and she made her home in Raceland for nearly 70

Hilary of Poitiers Church in Raceland, A Mass of Christian burial will be at
noon Monday at the church, with burial in St. Mary's Nativity Catholic
Cemetery. She is survived by her children, Bonnie R. Livingston and husband,
Robert, Alice R. Bonneval and Dr. Monte M. Bonneval, Dr. Richard E.
Robichaux Jr. and wife, Denise, and Leslie R. Suazo and husband, Herminio;
former husband, Dr. Richard E. Robichaux; 11 grandchildren; 15
great-grandchildren; sister, Barbara Scheuermann, of New Orleans; and
numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two children,
Estelle Seibert Robichaux and René Scheuermann Robichaux; grandson, Richard
Godwin Livingston; father, Joseph "Daddy Red" Augustus Scheuermann; two
loving mothers. Estelle S. Scheuermann and Wenonah S. Scheuermann; loving
grandmother, Marie "Mamma" Sophie Belzons Seibert; grandfather, Josiah
"Poppa" William Seibert; sister, Wandah Marie "Cookie" Scheuermann; and
brother, George William Scheuermann. "Boo" was an active volunteer in civic
and community affairs. She was a founding member of the Lafourche Parish
Republican Women's Club; served on the Republican State Central Committee
and served as a member of the Electoral College for the 1988 presidential
election. She was a member and past Regent of the Bayou Lafourche Chapter of
the Daughters of the American Revolution and served for several years as a
board member of the Lafourche Parish Chapter of the American Cancer Society.
She was a longtime member of Thibodaux Music Club, Orleans Club and Catholic
Daughters as well as the Lafourche Heritage Society. "Boo" was devoted to

from St. Joseph Elementary School in Thibodaux. Lee, as her friends knew
her, had an unending zest for life and never met a stranger. Her hobbies
included cooking for her family and friends, playing bridge and traveling.

Noricia Blanchard Young, 62, was a native of Patterson and resident of
Houma. Surrounded by family and friends, Noricia fell asleep in death
Thursday, May 30, 2013. A memorial service will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at
Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Patterson. She is survived by her
loving husband, Jude Young; father, Linus Blanchard; daughters, Betty Jo
Thomas and husband, Edward, and Laura Young; brothers, Reese and Kenneth
Blanchard; sister, Vickie Turner; and grandchildren, Megan Hall and Kaeden
Thomas. She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Neal Blanchard.
Through her life, she gave herself to comforting and helping others, whether
it was helping someone learn God's Bible truths or caring for the sick and
elderly. She had the ability to view a negative situation as a positive
challenge to prove her faith and loyalty. She enjoyed singing, traveling and
spending time with family. Mama, you have touched us all with your love,
light, faith, songs and strength. You will forever live in our minds,
hearts, spirits and lives. Until we "meet you at the mountains" and see your

Rita Zeringue, 88, a native and resident of Thibodaux, died Tuesday, June
25,2013. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Thursday at St.
Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10
a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. She is
survived by her sisters, Frances "Teeny" Clement, Kathleen "Dute" Percle and
Betty Melancon; stepdaughters, Joann Foret and Sharon Taylor; and many
loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, step-grandchildren and
step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Harry
Toups Jr. and Joseph Zeringue; parents, Alexander and Hattie P. Caillouet;
brother, Roland Caillouet Sr.; and sisters, Gertrude Chiasson and Yvonne
"Nona" Adams. She loved reading, going to Mass, trips to the casino and
