Ike Adams Sr., 58, a resident of Raceland, died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Community Funeral 
Home. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, 

with burial in Morning Star Cemetery in Raceland. 

He is survived by his wife, Viola Adams; sons, Ike Adams Jr. and wife, Doris, 
and Jermey James Adams and wife, Markita; daughter, Rojunda Adams; sisters, 
Elizabeth Robinson, and Geraldine Ard and husband, Leroy; and 13 grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice Stratton, and Alberta and 
Ivory Adams; brothers, Cyrus and Willie Stratton; and sisters, Dorothy Adams 
and Gloria Shelby. 

Community Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
