Arabella ""Belle"" Fremin Ardoin, 83, a native of Gretna, a former resident of 
Houston, Texas, and a resident of Houma, died at 2:58 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11, 
2014.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. 
Saturday at St. Bernadette Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at 
the church 

with burial in St. Francis Cemetery II.

She is survived by her sister, Beverly Fremin; five nieces, Wanda Gaudet, 
Cheryl Tibo, Helen Boudreaux, Sheila Dupre, and Maple Potchernick; three 
nephews, Wayne Atchison, John Patrick Ardoin, and Richard Paul Ardoin; and 
brother-in-law, Burton Whitfield.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Ardoin; parents, Edmond and 
Lydie Fremin; two brothers, Ernest and Curtis Fremin; three sisters, Anna Mae 
Fremin Atchison, Virgie Fremin Keneaster, and Ruby Fremin Whitfield; and one 
niece.

She was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church. 
She was a member of The Catholic Daughters and The Knights of Columbus Wives 
Auxiliary.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, bowling, and spending time with her 
family and friends.

Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
