Willard "Eddie" Bardwell, 74, passed away peacefully on Feb. 23, 2014. 
He was a long time resident of Houston, TX and Houma, LA. 

At this time, no memorial services are scheduled.

He is survived by his son-in-law, James B. Phipps Jr.; grandchildren, Courtney 
Phipps and companion Storm Fitch, and Haley Phipps; and great grandchildren, 
Tidus Lapeyrouse, Taylon Lapeyrouse, Grace Fitch, and Aurora Fitch, all of 
Houma, LA. 
He is also survived by his sons, Eddie Bardwell of Bay St. Louis, MS and Bobby 
Bardwell of Columbia, TN; grandchildren, Scott VanBergen, Ashley Russell, 
Veronica Martin, Anthony Bardwell, Landon Bardwell, and Logan Bardwell, all of 
Columbia, TN; and his former wives, Suzanna Bardwell of Bay St. Louis, MS and 
Mary Bardwell of Houston, TX.

He is preceded in death by his daughters, Stacy Bardwell Phipps of Houma, LA 
and Becky Bardwell of Columbia, TN; and his parents, Melvin Bardwell and Ernest 
and Lela "Belle" Temptle of Natchez, MS.

He will be remembered as an outspoken, outgoing individual who enjoyed spending 
as much time as possible with his grandchildren. He was an avid football fan 
for the Houston Texans and the New Orleans Saints. 

His family would like to thank all who have sent their condolences and also a 
special thanks to some of the caring staff at Chateau Terrebonne Health Care, 
Terrebonne General ER department, and Acadian Ambulance service.
