Clarence "T-Clair" J. Cheramie, 88, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of 
Cut Off passed away February 19, 2014. 

Visitation will take place at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano on Monday 
February 24, 2014 from 4:00pm till 9:00pm with cremation following. 

Funeral Mass and burial will take place at a later date.

Mr. Clarence is survived by his wife of 67 years Rowena C. Cheramie, children 
Janet Cheramie Picou and husband Wilson "Pic" Picou, Gerry Cheramie, Rod 
Cheramie and wife Kerry Orgeron Cheramie, grandchildren Amber Picou, Lacy Picou, 
Ashley Picou Guidry and husband Eric Guidry, Shawn Picou, Cru Gaspard, Brittany 
Picou Curole and husband Rueban Curole, Brandon Cheramie, Blaine Cheramie, 
Juliann Toups, Luke Cheramie, Matthew Cheramie, and Max Cheramie, and great 
grandchild Brieanna Guidry.

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard J. Cheramie and Evelia Cheramie, 
son Gary Cheramie, grandson Chad Michael Picou, and brothers Ulysses Cheramie 
and John Cheramie.

Mr. Cheramie enjoyed spending time with his family, Mr. Charlie and his grand 
puppy Riley, traveling, cutting everyone's grass, tending his garden, and 
teaching his grandchildren everything. he was a member and 4th degree Knight of 
Columbus, a member of the American Legion , the V.F.W., the Scared Heart Holy 
Name Society and Altar Society, and a Army Veteran of WWII's Pacific Campaign.

Falgout Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
