Everlina Coleman, 78, a native of Raceland and resident of Thibodaux, died 
Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until funeral time Friday at Third Zion Baptist 
Church in Raceland. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the church, 

with burial in Brooklyn Cemetery. 

She is survived by her sons, Howard Robinson, Ivory (Joyce) Joe Robinson, the 
Rev. Floyd (Mary) Robinson, and Richard (Delta) Robinson; daughter, Debra A. 
Robinson; brothers, Linzy Coleman, Leo (Mary) Coleman Sr., Evan Lewis, and 
Alvin Douglas; sisters, Pearl Lofton, Louella Coleman, and Rita Lawson; 15 
grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Ceolar Coleman; son, Al 
James Robinson; brothers, Melvin Coleman Jr., Joseph Coleman, the Rev. Clifford 
Coleman Sr., and Robert Coleman Sr.; sister, Eula Thomas; and grandparents, 
Georgiana Toussaint, Simon T. Toussaint, Elizabeth Coleman, and John Coleman. 

Kennedy Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
