Stacey Eve Schaubhut Dantin, 50 a native of Raceland and resident of Des 
Allemands, passed away at 7:33 a.m. Sunday Feb. 9, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 3:33 p.m. until funeral time Sunday at Life Fellowship 
Church, 2671 Hwy. 306 Bayou Gauche Road, Bayou Gauche, LA 70030. Funeral 
services will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the church. 

She is survived by her husband, Alvin "Al" P. Dantin III; parents, Steve D. 
Schaubhut and Beverly Foret Schaubhut; daughters, Jamie Lynn (Bernard "Dave") 
Mayeux III, Jerri Lynn (Alben "Peadie") Cooper III, and Jodie Dantin: brother, 
Keith D. (Shanna) Schaubhut; sisters, Dawn S. (Roddy) Theriot, Denise Schaubhut, 
Trisha Schaubhut, and Becky S. (Jeff) Parks; five grandchildren, Alben (P.J.), 
Sebastian and Abram Cooper, Bernard (Ben) IV and Cason Mayeux; and many nieces, 
nephews, friends and family. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mikey and Mabel C. Schaubhut; and 
nephew, Philip Theriot. 

She enjoyed supporting her girls playing softball and going to tournaments with 
them. She enjoyed taking vacation trips with her family, friends, and her 
grandsons. 

She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Raceland is in charge of arrangements.
