Lavita Inez Francis, 47, a resident of Morgan City, died at 7 a.m. Saturday, 
Feb. 15, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Wednesday at Jones Funeral 
Home in Morgan City. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the 
funeral home. 

She is survived by her mother, Jackie Brown, of Patterson; husband, Earl 
Garrison, of Patterson; daughter, Mrs. Melvin (Keokia Johnson) Jones, of 
Houston, Texas; sisters, Mrs. Keith (Chorriss) Johnson, of Patterson, and 
Brittany Francis, of Houston, Texas; and brother, Kuahn Francis (Felicia), of 
Indianapolis, Ind. 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, father, and brother. 

Jones Funeral Home in Morgan City is in charge of arrangements.
