HAMPTON, RONALD 

“Ronnie” Ronald Hampton, 62, passed away on February 2, 2014 at the Baton Rouge 
General in Baton Rouge.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse Hampton, and his mother, Eliza 
Harper, both of Coffee County GA.

He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Eloise Broussard Hampton; brother Jesse 
Carroll and wife Wanda Hampton of Hortense, GA; a daughter Ellen and her 
husband Donald Sims of Bryceville, FL; and grandchildren Leecy, Chandler and DJ 
Sims. He is also survived by four step-sons, 20 grandchildren, 24 great-
grandchildren; and a loving granddaughter Lee Anna Lockhart.

He will be laid to rest in the Whitaker Hill Cemetery in Hortense, GA. Visiting 
will be at the Frye Funeral Home in Nahunta, GA on Friday, February 7, from 6 
p.m. until 8 p.m. memorial service.
