Augustine "Stine" Kemp LaGarde, 75, a native of Terrebonne Parish and resident 
of Houma, died at 8:02 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at New Mt. Pilgrim 
Baptist Church. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the church 

with burial in Southdown Cemetery. 

She is survived by her daughters, Janetta (Jerry) Cooper, of San Diego, Calif., 
and Gail Johnson, Tracy (Ronald) Allen, Terry Williams, Lenora, and Darlene 
Outley, of Houma; 11 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and sister, Geraldine 
K. Scott. 

She was preceded in death by her son, Earl Williams III; parents, Sherman Kemp 
and Annie Scoby Kemp; sister, Ada K. Lewis; and brothers, Southern Louis, and 
William, Willie, and Sherman Kemp. 

Jones Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of arrangements.
