Noralie Legendre, 94, a native of Chackbay and resident of Thibodaux, was born 
Jan. 6, 1920, and passed away Monday, Feb. 3, 2014. 

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. until funeral time Saturday at St. Genevieve 
Catholic Church in Thibodaux. A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. 
Saturday at the church, 

with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. 

She is survived by her daughters, Shirleen L. Killion; brother, Morris Ordoyne; 
sisters, Violet Bilello, Toudell Tabor, and Shirley Oncale; granddaughter, 
Michelle Bergeron and husband, Rodney; and great-grandchildren, Emma and Ryan 
Bergeron. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl P. Legendre; parents, Thomas And 
Angela Tabor Ordoyne; brothers, Junis, Paul, and Jessie Ordoyne Sr.; and 
sisters, Alma O. Ordoyne and Leodie Ordoyne. 

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and caregiver, 
who enjoyed life to the fullest. Her greatest pleasure was spending time with 
her family and friends. She touched the lives of all the children she cared 
for. 

Special thanks goes to the staff of Thibodaux Regional Medical Center and St. 
Joseph Hospice.
