David Scott Loescher was born 1.2.52 in Marietta, OH to Clyde Loescher of 
Little Rock, AK and Dorothy Waite Loescher of Cincinnati, OH and fell asleep in 
death on 2.22.14.

He is preceded in death by his parents Clyde and Dorothy, and sister Linda. 

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Toni Baehr Loescher; children: Julie 
Loescher Deroche and her husband Benjamin, Jesse Loescher and his wife Mandy 
Dubois Loescher, and Gretchen Loescher Crigler and her husband Walter. Two 
grandchildren Molly and Jackson Loescher; Brothers Craig, Michael, and Mark; 
and his beloved sister, Amy Loescher Hickey.

He worked for many years in the automotive trim business, but was well known in 
the West Bank and Houma communities for his volunteer service. 

He was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses on 7.6.73 and served his God, 
Jehovah, faithfully for 40 years. He worked tirelessly as a congregation elder 
and as a member of the New Orleans Hospital Liaison Committee, visiting the 
sick and offering encouragement from God's word the Bible. 

He will be missed as a loving husband, father, grandfather, shepherd, and 
zealous evangelizer of God's Kingdom until he is reunited with his family in 
the resurrection. (John 11: 23-25)

Memorial services will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 
1830 Prospect Blvd. in Houma, Saturday, March 1 at 2pm. 
Visitors are welcome.
