Telesia Marie Gros Melancon, 66, a native of Lockport and resident of Cut Off, 
died Friday, Feb. 7, 2014. 

Graveside services and burial was in Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church 
Cemetery. 

She is survived by her son, Vergice "Bozo" Bergeron Jr.; daughters, Karen M. 
Hatcher, Stella M. Angelle, and Jenny M. Gros; stepson, Rodney P. Melancon; 
stepdaughters, Dawn M. Adams and Melissa Williams; 15 grandchildren; eight 
step-grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Joseph Melancon; parents, 
Alexander and Emelda Bernard Gros; son, Harris J. Bergeron; brother, Clifford 
J. Gros; and sister, Adele G. Lee. 

Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Raceland was in charge of arrangements.
