Doris H. ÒDotÓ Naquin, a native and resident of Thibodaux, was born December 9, 
1930, and passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the age of 83. 

She is survived by her children, Eric Naquin and wife Ronda of Bellevue, WA, 
Mark Naquin and wife Gwen of Houma, and Mona Gary and husband Jimmy of Baton 
Rouge; grandchildren Danielle Naquin, Taylor and Benton Naquin, Emma and James 
Gary; sister, Ruth Knight and numerous nieces and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Warren P. ÒMammyÓ Naquin, her 
parents, Phillip Hebert and Marion Delatte Hebert, sisters, Velma Ledet, Pearl 
LeBlanc, Merlyn Hebert; and brothers, Dewey, Scuddy, Stanley, and Junius 
Hebert. Also preceding her were a daughter-in-law, Lori Talbot Naquin and a 
granddaughter Grace Marion Gary. 

Visitation will be at St. Genevieve Catholic Church on Thursday, February 27, 
2014 from 9:30 a.m. until 12:00 noon with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow. 

Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. 

Dot was a loving and sweet wife, mother, maw maw and friend. She enjoyed 
cooking and spending time with her family as well as visiting with her many 
friends. She always had a sweet smile and a positive attitude and will be 
greatly missed. 

The family would like to extend their appreciation and gratitude to Dr. James 
Ellis and his staff as well as the caring staff and residents at Lafourche Home 
for the Aged.
