OLIVER QUEEN, SR. A retired laborer and a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, died Feb, 
4, 2014 at Ochsner Hospital in Baton Rouge, LA. 
He was 72, a native of Thibodaux, LA and a resident of Baton Rouge, LA. 

Visiting at Morning Star Baptist Church, 101 Brule Guillot Road, Thibodaux, LA 
from 9:00am to Religious Services at 11:00am Saturday, Feb. 15, 2014. 

Burial with military rites in Morning Star Baptist Church cemetery, Brule 
Guillot Road. 

Survived by 4 sons and spouse, Oliver, Jr. and Candice Queen, of Falls Church, 
VA, Otis and Aaron Queen of Thibodaux, LA, and Kailin Lemieux of Baton Rouge, 
LA; 2 daughters, Olivia and Crystal Queen of Thibodaux, LA; 4 brothers, Ernest, 
Alvin, Sr., Louis, Jr. and Leonard Queen; 4 sisters, Eva Shanklin, Effie Price, 
Gwendolyn Franklin and Betty Ann Antoine; Also survived by 15 grandchildren, 
and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Preceded in death by parents, Effie and Louis Queen, Sr. and a daughter, Deanna 
Marie Queen. 

He was a former Commander of American Legion Post #513.
