SHELTON, ESTHER BABIN  

Esther Babin Shelton, 95, a native of Garden City and longtime resident of 
Houma, died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014. 
She resided in Kenner for the last three years of her life. 

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the L.A. Muhleisen & Son Funeral 
Home in Kenner. 

She is survived by a daughter, Marlene Lambert and fiance, Louis Dugan; son, 
Philip Shelton and wife, Toni; three grandchildren, RaeAnn Lambert Paisant and 
husband, Daniel, Edie Shelton Boudreaux and husband, Kurt, and Lee Shelton and 
wife, Jennifer; six great-grandchildren, Maygan Shelton, Blaine Boudreaux, Seth 
Boudreaux, Tyler Boudreaux, Katelyn Shelton and Madison Shelton; and one step-
great-grandson, Cole Steele. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Shelton; grandson, Blaine 
Lambert; great-granddaughter, Courtney Boudreaux; son-in-law, Michael Lambert; 
and eight brothers and sisters.
