All rights reserved. ******************************************************************************************** Laura Neal Abernathy - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 9, 1924 Death this week visited our midst when Laura Abernathy, daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Abernathy of Sondheimer passed away. She had been seriously ill for over a week with blood poisoning, and as she had held on for so long a time, it was the hope of the many friends that she would pull through, even though her sufferings were great. However, in spite of all that was done for her, she answered the call of her Maker and passed on to a greater and more beneficial world. The many friends of this little girl have suffered with her loved ones over her loss.
