Abroms - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal September 13, 1968 Jack A. Abroms, Local Merchant Dies Friday night Jack A. Abroms owner of J. Abroms dry goods store and former resident of Tallulah, died after a brief illness at the University Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi, Friday night at 11:30. He was 67 years old. Mr. Abroms was born in Louisville, Kentucky and moved to Tallulah in 1923. For the past few years he has made his home in Jackson, Mississippi. Services were held Sunday in Louisville, Kentucky at 2:30 p. m. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lucille Abroms of Jackson, Mississippi, and one daughter, Mrs. Nathan Zimmerman of Kentucky, the former Miss Bobbette Abroms of Tallulah; and several brothers and sisters.
