All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Agnes Shields Adams - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, October 26, 1988 Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Shields Adams, 83, were at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Edwards Catholic Church with Rev. Terry Allen officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery under direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Adams died Thursday in the Madison Parish Hospital after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Adams was a lifelong resident of Tallulah and a member of St. Edwards Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ziegler Adams. Survivors include two daughters: Mrs. Leo Adams Weimar of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Carol Adams Regan of Tallulah; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were J.H. Bryant, C. Calvin Adams Jr., Edward M. Adams, John W. Adams, William R. Adams, Tommy W. Bishop, Henry C. Sevier Jr. and Rufus T. Yerger Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to St. Edwards Catholic Church.
