"Bill" Adams - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, July 3, 1980 Services for William Z. "Bill" Adams, 75, were Tuesday in Crothers Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Coles officiating. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery. Mr. Adams died Monday in Madison Parish Hospital after an illness. A lifelong resident of Tallulah, Mr. Adams was a retired planter, and a director of Tallulah State Bank & Trust Co. He was a former member of the Tallulah Rotary Club, a member of Tallulah's First Methodist Church, member of Tallulah Co-Op Gin, former president of the Madison Parish School Board. He attended LSU and completed business College. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Agnes S. Adams of Tallulah; two daughters, Mrs. John W. Weimar of Baton Rouge and Mrs. Carroll R. Regan of Tallulah; a brother, Judge C. C. Adams of Tallulah; a sister, Mrs. Henry C. Sevier Sr. of Tallulah and five grandchildren. Pallbearers were Calvin Adams, William Adams, Edward M. Adams, Henry C. Sevier Jr., J. H. Bryant, Rufus Yerger Jr., Thomas W. Bishop and Robert W. Gandy Jr. Honorary pallbearers were members of the board of directors of the Tallulah State Bank and Trust Co. The family requests memorials be made to the American Lung Association.
