All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Annie Sevier Agee - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, November 21, 1958 Rites Held For Mrs. Annie Agee Monday Afternoon Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Sevier Agee, 84, who died Sunday morning at the Madison Parish Hospital after a long illness, were held at the Presbyterian Church Monday afternoon with Rev. Kenneth Book officiating. She was a charter member of the church. Interment followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery under the direction of Crothers Funeral Home. Mrs. Agee was a member of a pioneer family in Madison Parish having resided here for the past 64 years. She was originally from Claiborne County, Mississippi. She was a sister of the late Andrew J. Sevier who served as sheriff of Madison Parish for more than thirty years. Until her health failed, Mrs. Agee was active in church and civic affairs. She was the sister of the late Mrs. W. J. Ward, Mrs. Carter Williamson of Vicksburg, and Mrs. C. S. Utz. Surviving is a grandson, William Agee of Chicago, Ill., son of her only child, the late Curtis Agee, druggist of Jackson, Miss. Her husband was the late J. S. Agee. Pallbearers were Don Sevier, Henry Sevier, Jr., Jim Folk, Jack Folk, C. T. Crow, George Spencer, Ned Levee and J. W. Carpenter.
