Alamond died Monday, Nov. 7, 2005, at Madison Parish Hospital. She was 53. She was born in LaPorte, Ind., and had lived in Tallulah most of her life. She was a homemaker and member of Parkview Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Wayne Alamond. She is survived by two sons, David Wayne Alamond of Ellisville, Miss., and Keith Lane Alamond of Oak Grove; one daughter, Pattie Carr of Tallulah; two sisters, Vada McKinnie and Kathy Jobe, both of Tallulah; eight grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Parkview Baptist Church with the Rev. Cletus Moak officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5 until 8 tonight at the church. Pallbearers will be Louis Alamond, David Miles, Charles Jackson, Sonny Copes, Tim Jobe and Gary Gunn. Honorary pallbearers will be Drs. Lawrence Cheniere, T.A. Neumann and L.P. Neumann Jr.
