All rights reserved. ************************************************************************************************ Harry Anderson, Sr. - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal May 1, 1969 Final Rites Held For Harry Anderson Final rites for Harry Anderson, Sr., were held at 3:00 p. m. at the First Methodist Church April 28, with Rev Clark Bell officiating. Mr. Anderson was born in Utica, Miss, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry Anderson. In 1924 he married the former Sarah Patterson of Lake Village, Ark. They moved to Tallulah where he was a member of the First Methodist Church and the American Legion. For .the past 26 years he has been a patient in the Veteran's Hospital on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. He died Saturday, April 26 at the age of 71. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Sarah Patterson Anderson of Tallulah; one daughter, Mrs. Joyce Roach of Wisner, La., one son, Harry Anderson, Jr., of Baton Rouge; four grandchildren, two nephews and one niece. Burial was in Silver Cross Cemetery, under the direction of The Old Southern Mortuary. Pallbearers were: Jesse Anderson, John O'Shea, Martin Pemberton, Leander Grace, R. G. Waugh, Norwood Duke, Bruce Clark and Billy Post.
