A graveside service for Mr. Thomas " Tommy" Lambert Anderson, age 79, will be held Friday, September 10, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Silver Cross Cemetery in Tallulah. Louisiana, with Bro. Jason Lupo officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Crothers-Glenwood Funeral Home in Tallulah.

Tommy passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at Merit Health River Region Medical Center in Vicksburg, Mississippi. He was born February 6, 1942, in New Orleans, Louisiana. His parents were Jessie L. and Ina M. Griffin Anderson. He was raised in Tallulah and graduated from Tallulah High School. After he completed high school, he earned an Associate Degree from Hinds Junior College. He married JoAnn Hutto, and they had one child, T. J. Anderson. He participated in Civil War reenactments and was famously known as “The Rebel”, and he loved drag racing.

Tommy is preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Ina Anderson; and three brothers-in-law, Billy Hutto, Gordon Hutto, and John Hutto. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, JoAnn Hutto Anderson; son, T. J. Anderson; sister, Sandy Faught; three brothers-in-law, Bruce Faught, Henry Wallace Hutto, and Jimmy Hutto; seven nieces, Sealy Faught, Kathryn Ballinger, Tina Randall, Tori Greene, April Hutto, Brandy Hutto, and Amy Hutto; and one nephew, Wally Hutto.

Pallbearers will be David Brewer, Johnny Brewer, Ricky Brewer, Jason Vines, Wallace Hutto, Bruce Faught, Bodie McDonald, and Grady Erwin.
