Stein Antley - Madison Parish, Louisiana From Tallulah Madison Journal, August 4, 1961 Funeral Services for Stein Antley Held Last Friday Funeral services for J. Stein Antley, 59, a former resident of Tallulah, was held at Point, La., near Monroe last Friday afternoon with the Rev. Billy Carter and the Rev. Falcon Hearne officiating. Interment followed in the Hasley Cemetery. Mr. Antley, a retired car dealer, died in a Monroe hospital Thursday of last week after a five day illness. Mr. Antley was a member of at the Point Baptist Church and a former member of the Knights of Pythias Lodge. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Louise Frantom Antley, Point; two sons, Robert Stein Antley, Tallulah, and John Dale Antley with the U. S. Navy at Pensacola, Fla.; a daughter, Mrs. Donald Cannon, West Monroe; his mother, Mrs. Julia Carter Antley, Point; a brother, Carols Antley, Point; three sisters, Mrs. H. L. Hales, Monroe, Mrs. H. R. Wilhite, West Monroe, and Mrs. Ira Tidwell, Downsville, and three grandchildren. Pallbearers were W. R. Roper, E. A. Jennings, M. B. Christian, H. O. Horne, Clay Crawford and Tim Bayles.
